Re-Cycle doesn’t need commitment, all you need to do is just think for a second before you throw something into a Trash Bin. Most of the items we unknowingly throw into the Trash Bin may go into Re-Cycle Bin which can have positive impact on our health as well as our Environment.Steps for Recycling:
- Know what Items to Recycle vs what Items to Trash.
Plastic Bottles and Cans: Most of the Plastic containers and other packaging products you buy, you’ll find what’s generally accepted as the recycling logo with a number in the middle and sometimes letters underneath stamped into the plastic. The following is what to look for and what it all means.
Paper & Cardboard Boxes
Metal Cans, Tins and Glass
2) Empty, Clean and Dry
Make sure all the items you are planning to Re-Cycle should be emptied out of food, clean it or rinse it with water and then dry them out. They don’t need to be perfect but having food particles or residues of food on the containers can contaminate and might not become a good fit for Re-cycle. Not just that, those contaminated containers can also contaminate other items in your Bin.
3) All set for Bin
- Flatten the Cardboard boxes.
- Paper and cardboards are not wet and soiled.
- Containers are empty, clean and dry.
- Keep all items loose.
Most cities offer curbside recycling pickup however if you do not have curbside Recycle pickup you can drop by the nearest recycle location.
Now you can feel PROUD that you made a positive impact on Environment.
